News & EventsOld Kentucky Home TourIt's still not too late to sign up for the premier event of the bicycle touring season. The 2010 Old Kentucky Home Tour is September 11 and 12th. Day one has 50, 72, and 102 mile routes with the famous Pottershop Hill climb on the long route. The Sunday route is 56 miles of beautiful countryside from Bardstown back to Tom Sawyer Park. Check out more information here: LBC's Old Kentucky Home Tour Oldham County Mini-TriathlonOur USAT sanctioned Mini-Triathlon is held at Wendell Moore Park on the
first Saturday after Labor Day, September 11. The event includes a 400-meter
pool swim, an 10-mile bike ride on a non-closed road course and a 3K run
that includes firm surfaces and cross-country segments. The race costs
$45.00 per individual and $75.00 for three-person teams. Non-USAT members
must add $10.00 per participant to cover one-day insurance. The top three
finishers in a variety of age groups as well as the men & women’s
overall winner receive awards. Registration begins July 1st and must be
turned in by August 26th. Maximum participation is 200 entries. For more

office at 225-0655 ext. 102. Park Tool SchoolWe're proud to announce our first tool school of the season (off-season). Our first session is scheduled for October 11, 13, 18, & 20th. The Monday/Wednesday classes will meet from 6:30 to 9:30. Bring your bike and learn such things as hub adjustment, cable installation and tuning, true wheels, chain installation and much much more. This is an intermediate level class for folks that have performed some basic maintenance and are interested in going to the next level working on the bike. We go every Saturday at 3:30 PM from the shop. Ride is 25 miles of rollers with friendly folks and no traffic lights!
